Each certified cargo screening facility under this part shall provide its employees with special equipment and training to ensure that passengers who enter the facility are screened for prohibited items, and screened for restricted items and passengers who are prohibited from taking flights, are screened for any other prohibited items or passengers prohibited from entering the facility. Employees must also ensure that all passenger information is recorded and kept safe and secure. (3) Secure transportation from facility to airport. (a) Each certified cargo screening facility under this part shall provide its employees with access to secure or alternate transportation arrangements for all passengers who do not arrive at the facility within the time specified in the SRA. (b) The TSA may, upon request, arrange alternative transportation for any individual subject to screening who does not arrive at the facility within the time specified in the SRA. This alternate transportation must provide the individual with a reasonable opportunity to board a suitable public transportation vehicle and may not include a private vehicle.
